Apparently, digital blowback isn't limited to

Case in point: Cheerios recently released a Facebook app that lets users choose words that play off the brand’s icon logo font. In response, a food group that opposes genetically modified foods
mobilized thousands of its supporters
—practically overnight—to generate names such as
“Made in a Lab,”
“Contain Toxic Ingredients.”
